secrets of on how to cook restaurant quality Indian food.
- Introduction to common Indian spices.
- Learn how to make a Tikka marinade and how to cook Chicken Tikka.
- Create a traditional ‘Tikka
Lababdar’ curry.
- Make your own style of Indian rice.
- Master the art of mixing your own spices and learn traditional Indian cooking techniques.
On arrival at the restaurant you’ll be welcomed by one of our friendly Hosts. You'll start the class with an introduction to the secrets of Indian cooking and gain an insight into how the spices and flavourings come together to build layers of exciting tastes. You'll then watch the Chef cook Indian style rice which is the traditional way to accompany your main curry dish. You'll then get the chance to make your own rice. You’ll also learn a traditional Tikka marinade recipe and how to make authentic Chicken Tikka. You’ll then create a delicious ‘Tikka Lababdar’ (similar to a Tikka Masala but better) from scratch. Direction and guidance throughout the class from Pearl restaurant's executive Chef. To finish, you’ll sit down to eat and complete your experience with the group. Food that has been made can also be taken home to impress family or friends.

Participant guidelines: Minimum age is 16 (or 12 if accompanied by another class attendee aged 18 or over). All equipment provided.
Dress code: Casual. An apron will be provided for the duration of the experience.
Booking confirmation: This will be emailed out. You will then need to fill in the Attendee Information (i.e. name, email address, mobile and any dietary requirements) at least two weeks before the class. The agenda for your class will be emailed to the Attendee email address one week before the class.
Photos: Photographs will be taken throughout the class by your host and will be sent to you afterwards.
