On arrival at BAKERIE you’ll be welcomed by one of our friendly Hosts. You'll start the class with an introduction into the various different kinds of dough, yeast and gluten. You'll then make your own standard bread dough from scratch.With this dough you’ll make a classic loaf and some buns. You'll then create your very own sweet Panettone by adding delicious raisins, mixed orange or lemon peel and flaked almonds. Then get experimental and create an authentic flat bread Focaccia using your choice of ingredients such as olives, caramelised onions and sun-dried tomatoes.
Direction and guidance throughout the class from BAKERIE’s Head Chef. To finish, you’ll sit down to try your breads and complete your
experience with the group. The bread that has been made can also be taken
home to impress family or friends.
Duration: 3 Hours (plus additional baking time)
Class size: Maximum of 10 people
Dietary requirements: This class can cater for non meat eaters (there are specific meat substitutes) and most dietary requirements. Please feel free to contact us to discuss this further.
Participant guidelines: Minimum age is 16 (or 12 if accompanied by another class attendee aged 18 or over).
Dress code: Casual. An apron will be provided for the duration of the experience.
Booking confirmation: This will be emailed out to you as soon as payment has been made. You will then need to fill in the Attendee Information (i.e. name, email address, mobile and any dietary requirements) at least two weeks before the class. The agenda for your class will be emailed to the Attendee email address one week before the class.
